((I hope I did this right ^^ I guess training healing is way different than training combat skills..))
Aessa entered the small wrecked-up building, each creak of the wood planks she stepped on made her cringe. Inside was the family she had been looking for. Two children, a boy, the oldest, and a girl, the youngest, bent over their mother. Aessa took a glance around the room, trying to get use to her surroundings. On the opposite side of the room from the family, there was a tiny shrine to a man. Must be their father.. poor souls. Being born without parents is better than having one of your parents die while you were alive.., she thought to herself, sighing. "Do you know what is causing the pain?", Aessa asked, looking at the eldest son. He replied without hesitation. "Her knee hurts so bad she can't walk. It isn't injured, she says it's because she overworked."
"Alright. I may only be able to numb the pain for a while, but I think it will help."
The kids moved apart from each other, leaving room for Aessa in between them. Aessa sat on her knees and examined her 'patient'. Moving her hands over the woman's knee, Aessa concentrated her magic into her hands and to the woman. "Do you feel a difference?" She asked, and much to her dismay, the woman shook her head. Aessa tried again about 3 times, and leaned back to wipe sweat off her forehead. "One more time. Don't worry, I won't leave without healing your mother." She said, looking at the daughter who had worry almost written on her face. Aessa repeated the process of concentrating her magic power into someone's wound.
"It worked," said the woman, "Thank you so much. Now I can go to work and get money for food."
"No, thank you. You allowed me to get some practice and learn a new spell." Aessa said, walking out the door. She yawned and looked up at the sky. Time sure passes quickly..
